I knew nothing about this other than its being about publishing to some extent. I'll say I was pleasantly surprised by it. I have a soft spot for books set in London so that helped. There were parts of it that were very funny and other things that weren't. I really felt how of its time it was when they referred to having an iPod as a signifier of being with the times. I don't know, I think if I've read this of my own accord I'd have liked it a bit more. I will be stealing 'hrnf' as a an interjection/onomatopoeia.
